Things I like about NYC:
- The subway cabaret performers on the A train
- Getting checked out on the L(ove) train
- Extremes of weather – snow in the city, hot summer, monsoon rains
- Great food everywhere you go
- Unsolicited and sincere compliments from strangers in the street
- The B-boys at 42nd Street subway
- PS1 – wandering round the old school, ignoring the art
- Lying on cool grass under a tree in Brooklyn Botanical Garden in the sweat of the summer
- Dodging the boardwalk dancers at Coney Island
- Staying out until 4am on a school night and still being able to catch the subway home
